Symptom management through self-management: Improving the outcomes of patients with relapsed multiple myeloma
The main aim of this project is to develop a symptom management self care tool for patient with relapsed MM. MM is incurable and as a result of all novel treatments available patients live longer but not always with a exceptional QOL due to symptom burden. It is hoped that this project will result in the formation of a tool which could: (1) Potentially imporve the symptoms/Toxicities/adverse events that patients are experiencing (2) involve patients in their care and help them to become more proactive in their managment (3) Improve the way HCPs treat long term disease and enable them to look at the overall patient experience.
