Cancer Prevention Fellowship 2013
Research Programme for mid-career researchers working in Republic of Ireland (RoI) to become NCI Cancer Prevention Fellows at the prestigious National Cancer Institute (NCI) in the USA.
This programme provides training at post-doctorate level from the health professions, biomedical, and behavioural sciences to become leaders in the field of cancer prevention and control. The programme provides support for MPH training in RoI (year 1), attendance at the NCI Summer Curriculum in Cancer Prevention and Control and mentored research at the NCI (years 2–4). Successful applicants from RoI are also provided with the opportunity to apply for a fifth year of funding to facilitate their return to RoI to progress their independent research career.
