European Medicines Agency – Ireland’s bid for relocation to Dublin

The EMA is responsible for the scientific evaluation, supervision and safety monitoring of medicines in the European Union (EU).

The interdepartmental/interagency group working on the bid include the Department of the Taoiseach, Department of Health, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Department of Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation, Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Health Products Regulatory Authority, IDA Ireland, Science Foundation Ireland, and the Health Research Board.
