Horizon Europe Health Cluster and Cancer Mission

The deadline for single-stage calls and the first stage of two-stage calls for 2025 Horizon Europe Health Cluster and Cancer Mission was 16 of September. Evaluation results are expected to be communicated on Wednesday 21 January 2026 at the earliest.

For successful first-stage proposals, the deadline for full proposal submission is 16 April 2026 (4.00 pm IST).

Two waves of calls for proposals have been launched under the EU4Health 2025 Work Programme. The second wave of calls are still ongoing and have an application deadline  of 6 January 2026.

EU4H-2026-SANTE-PJ-05: Call for proposals on lifelong prevention for a healthy life with focus on cardiovascular diseases. Estimated values €2m.

EU4H-2026-SANTE-PJ-06: Call for proposals to support the development of a medicine pricing, reimbursement and access tracker through the EURIPID database. Estimated values €0.8m.

EU4H-2026-SANTE-PJ-07: Call for proposals for a programme on orphan medical devices, in particular targeting paediatric patients. Estimated values €1.2m.

EU4H-2026-SANTE-PJ-08: Call for proposals for health data for biotech innovation leveraging the European Health Data Space. Estimated values €14.4m.

EU4H-2026-SANTE-PJ-09: Call for proposals to contribute to the organisation of conferences. Estimated values €0.6m.

EU Partnerships

European Rare Disease Research Alliance (ERDERA) Networking Support Scheme

The Networking Support Scheme (NSS) is a continuously open call designed to knit together researchers, clinicians and patient advocates working on rare diseases and rare cancers. Proposals may be lodged at any time with the next collection deadline on 7 April 2026 at 13:00. The first collection round is currently under assessment for applications submitted before 7 October 2025.

Under the scheme, applicants can request up to €30,000 per networking event to cover meeting costs, travel costs, hybrid-meeting platforms and other essentials. Rounds will be held every six months until April 2029 – or until the dedicated budget is exhausted – providing a response pathway for emerging collaborations of the partnership.

European Partnership for Personalised Medicine (EPPerMed) Research, Innovation and Technology Call (RITC) 2026

This is a two-stage joint transnational call entitled “Test and Demonstration of Multimodal Data Approaches for Personalised Medicine (MultiPMData2026)”. The pre-proposal submission deadline is 12 January 2026 at 13:00 GMT.

European Rare Diseases Research Alliance (ERDERA) 2026

ERDERA’s 2026 Joint Transnational Call entitled “Resolving unsolved cases in rare genetic and nongenetic diseases through variant validation and new technological approaches” has launched with a deadline for pre-proposal submission of 12 February 2026.
