Second stage of 2025 two-stage calls and one-stage 2026 calls are under evaluation. Evaluation results are expected to be communicated on Friday 7 August 2026 at the earliest.
The “Test and Demonstration of Multimodal Data Approaches for Personalised Medicine (MultiPMData2026)’ RITC call is currently under review with overall outcome results expected in early September.
European Rare Diseases Research Alliance (ERDERA) Joint Transnational Call (JTC) 2026
‘Resolving unsolved cases in rare genetic and non-genetic diseases’ is the ERDERA JTC 2026 call topic. Pre-proposal submissions closed on 12 Feb 2026. Proposal submission closed on 08 July 2026. Applications are currently under review with results expected towards the end of the year.

EU Partnerships
European Rare Disease Research Alliance (ERDERA) Networking Support Scheme
The Networking Support Scheme (NSS) is a continuously open call designed to knit together researchers, clinicians and patient advocates working on rare diseases and rare cancers. Proposals may be lodged at any time.
Under the scheme, applicants can request up to €30,000 per networking event to cover meeting costs, travel costs, hybrid-meeting platforms and other essentials. Rounds will be held every six months until April 2029 – or until the dedicated budget is exhausted – providing a response pathway for emerging collaborations of the partnership.
European Rare Disease Research Alliance (ERDERA) Clinical Trial Call 2026
ERDERA will open its Clinical Trial Call 2026 (ECTC) on 1 July 2026 to support multinational, GCP‑compliant Phase I, Phase I/II and Phase II interventional clinical trials in rare diseases.
This call aims to generate robust clinical evidence and, where appropriate, data of regulatory relevance to support future regulatory interactions and subsequent clinical development. It is designed for rare disease trials where patient populations are often small and geographically dispersed, making multinational collaboration essential.

The EU4Health 2025 Work Programme closed its calls for proposals in January 2026. The new EU4Health 2026 Work Programme is expected to be published later this year, after which new calls for proposals will be launched.
