Procurement:

IT development for early warning, modelling, simulation and forecasting: “Advanced Technology for Health Intelligence and Action”. HADEA/2023/OP/0005 (€23.9 M across three lots, deadline 23 June 2023)

Horizon Europe Health Cluster

The Health Cluster Work Programme for 2023/ 2024 is published.

The 2024 two-stage calls opened on the 30 March 2023. Closing deadline for submission of proposals are:

• 1^st Stage: 19 September 2023
• 2^nd Stage: 11 April 2024

Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking

The second work programme of the Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking is published, including the description of the calls for proposals for 2023 in Annex 1. Single-stage call topics are open and the closing deadline for submission of proposals is the 29 of June 2023:

• HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3-2023-01-01: Global Health EDCTP3 Training Networks – Clinical Research Fellowships
• HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3-2023-01-02: Funding to successfully finalise EDCTP2-funded clinical trials that were negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic
• HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3-2023- 01-03: Implementation research/real life assessment of existing interventions in women and children’s health
• HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3-2023- 01-04: Research to rapidly evaluate interventions on Ebola outbreaks in sub-Saharan Africa

Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking

The Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking 2023 work programme includes two-stage calls:

Digital Europe Programme

The 2023-2024 Digital Europe Work Programme has just been published. Details on call openings will be announced shortly.

 EU4Health

Procurement: Creation of mental health training and exchange programmes for health professionals. Further information and links can be found on HaDEA’s news page (€9 M)

Calls and tenders are expected across 2023 in the areas of crisis preparedness, health promotion & disease prevention, cancer, health systems & healthcare workforce and digital.

Calls are expected to be published in June and the majority of tenders are expected in June/July (see HaDEA’s tentative call calendar). The indicative budget is €24.5 million.
