EU4Health

Action grants:

HaDEA has published 12 calls for proposals under the 2023 EU4Health Work Programme.

The topics include healthcare access, mental health, NCDs, cancer, Substances of Human Origin and medical devices.

The deadline for applications is on 17 October 2023, 4.00 pm (GMT).

• EU4H-2023-PJ-01: Supporting access to medical devices for cross border health threats (HERA) (€1.75 M)
• EU4H-2023-PJ-02: Supporting stakeholders on the prevention of NCDs in the area of chronic respiratory diseases (€1 M)
• EU4H-2023-PJ-03: Preventing NCDs in the area of mental health including actions supporting vulnerable population groups, such as migrants, refugees, Roma people and displaced people from Ukraine (€2.36 M)
• EU4H-2023-PJ-04: Preventing NCDs in the area of dementia and other neurological disorders (€1 M)

Horizon Europe Health Cluster

The Health Cluster Work Programme for 2023/ 2024 is published.

The 2024 two-stage calls opened on the 30 March 2023. Closing deadline for submission of proposals are:

• 1^st Stage: 19 September 2023
• 2^nd Stage: 11 April 2024

Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking

The second work programme of the Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking is published, including the description of the calls for proposals for 2023 in Annex 1. Single-stage call topics are open and the closing deadline for submission of proposals is the 29 of June 2023:

• HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3-2023-01-01: Global Health EDCTP3 Training Networks – Clinical Research Fellowships
• HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3-2023-01-02: Funding to successfully finalise EDCTP2-funded clinical trials that were negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic

Digital Europe Programme

The Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL) focuses on bringing digital technology to businesses, citizens, and public administrations. This programme includes health applications. The 2023-2024 Digital Europe Work Programme is published.

Upcoming Calls

EU4Health

Procurement:

Support capacity building on secondary use of health data in scope of the European Health Data Space (EHDS). HADEA/2023/OP/0025  PIN Published (Est. value €500,000).

Tenders are expected across 2023 in the areas of crisis preparedness, health promotion & disease prevention, cancer, health systems & healthcare workforce and digital.

The majority of tenders are expected in June/July (see HaDEA’s tentative call calendar). The indicative budget is €24.5 million.

Horizon Europe Health Cluster

Health Cluster 2024 Single Stage calls will open on 26 October 2023 and close on 11 April 2024.
