The National Bulletin contains a short national overview of the key statistics reported in the HRB report, Activities of Irish Psychiatric Units and Hospitals 2016. This includes information on admissions, discharges and deaths. Data is presented:

  • Nationally
  • By Community Healthcare Organisation (CHO) area
  • By county
  • By hospital type
  • By individual psychiatric units and hospitals.

Rates reported are per 100,000 total population. The CHO bulletins are a synopsis of data from the National Psychiatric In-patient Reporting System (NPIRS) for each CHO area in 2016.
