According to Dr Annalisa Montesanti, HRB;
‘This scheme, called ‘Clinician Scientist Postdoctoral Fellowships (CSF) 2020’ is for those who want to pursue a career as clinician scientists. It is an opportunity for health and care practitioners who have recently completed their PhD, or undertaken some post-doctoral research, to further consolidate their research skills and advance towards a more independent research career’.
The Fellowship will provide protected research time. Backfill funding for 50% Full Time Equivalent (FTE) of the awardes’s time is available. Each Fellowship will last between four and five years, and the HRB hopes to make between eight and ten awards in this round.
There will be a webinar about the scheme at 3.00 pm, 26 August 2019. Register at this url: https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/8335123172130702603
