According to Dr Mairead O’Driscoll, Interim Chief Executive at the HRB, and the Chair of the International Consortium for Personalised Medicine (ICPerMed) who were behind the successful ERANET bid:

‘Irish researchers will have access to funding calls in personalised medicine. There will be a call every year for the next four years, and the first call will be advertised on the HRB website in 2018’.

ICPerMed brings together over 30 European and international partners representing ministries, funding agencies and the European Commission (EC). Together, they work on coordinating and fostering research to develop and evaluate personalised medicine approaches.
