HRB provides specific evidence products around COVID-19
The Health Research Board are delivering evidence products to help inform decision making and policy in relation to the rapidly unfolding COVID-19 pandemic.

To date the HRB Evidence Centre has responded to three requests from the Department of Health since Friday 13 March 2020. The requests focused finding the latest data and information available international on:
- Strategies for childcare for healthcare workers dealing with COVID-19.
- Epidemiological data on risk of severe disease or death for older age groups and people with co-morbidities (certain chronic diseases) infected with COVID-19.
- COVID 19 prevention, management, treatment for populations in nursing homes.
The HRB has turned each request around in 24 to 48 hours. The evidence products generated are delivered in the format of important highlights along with a list of relevant documents on the topic area. These evidence products are updated daily as soon as new information is available.
