Knowledge Exchange and Dissemination Scheme (KEDS)
Deadline looming – this call closes on 27 July at 13.00. We have invited over 200 eligible grant holders to apply for this scheme so competition will be stiff!
Ulysses
The HRB is partnering with the Irish Research Council’s (IRC) Ulysses travel grant to fund a number of research visits to France. The French partner(s) should submit an application form to Campus France. The deadline for applications is 19 September 2018. Updates on closed calls
Applying Research into Policy & Practice Postdoctoral Fellowship (ARPP) 2018:
The international peer-review of the 29 eligible applications is now completed and 17 candidates have just been invited for interview on 11 and 12 September 2018. The HRB Board will approve the recommendation of the international interview panel on the 28th September 2018.
Conference & event sponsorship 2018 Round 2
The panel will meet on 30 July. It is expected results will be communicated mid-late August following Executive approval.
Medical Research Charities Group/HRB Joint Funding scheme 2018
In the latest round, 27 applications were submitted for review to the Joint Panel Commitee by 11 different MRCG-member charities. The Panel recommended 14 proposals for co-funding by the HRB and the individual supporting charities. For the first time the Panel included Public and Patient Members to provide specific feedback on PPI within the applications. Negotiations for contracts are now underway, with projects to start from late 2018. The scheme has been running since 2006 and has previously co-funded 111 research projects of strategic interest to the supporting charities. The next round is expected to launch in September 2019.
