Maynooth University’s Biology Outreach Committee, chaired by Dr Lorna Lopez, propose to run an interactive and hands-on event “Exploring Research Together: Autism-Friendly Science Night for Children and Parents” to engage families in health research. The benefit for the families will be an interaction with science and research in a unique environment. The event will be hosted by Maynooth University Biology Department. This is a unique space, that is accessible, comfortable and welcoming. It is an ideal setting to welcome families. This three day event will take place during November 2024. Local schools and groups will be invited to take part, to learn, to chat in an informal setting with our biology departmental team.
