The Augment project at APC Microbiome is looking at patients with moderate-severe IBD and examining multiple factors relating to their response to therapy. As part of this study, patients filled out a baseline Food Frequency Questionnaire. This project aims to analyze this data together with data on microbiome analysis, faecal calprotectin levels and their clinical response to immunotherapies. Exploration of a link between dietary diversity and microbial diversity is planned and the influence these factors have on patients’ response or lack
thereof to treatment.
