Analysis and outputs of HRB grants completed in 2010 and 2011

This report presents an analysis of the 196 HRB grants (combined spend of €54.5 million) that completed in 2010 and 2011 and provides an overview of the initial outputs and outcomes arising from these grants. The purpose of the report is to provide HRB Management and the Board with strategically useful information on the impact of HRB-funded research, and by identifying significant outcomes and success stories to assist with communicating the value of HRB research to external stakeholders and the public. An important proviso in considering this report is that the analysis presented is not a complete picture of the impact of HRB-funded research, but rather a snapshot at the point of end-of-grant (EOG).
