EU4Health 2022 work programme

The EU4Health work programme for 2022 was adopted by the Commission on the 14th Jan 2022. The programme provides funding to a level of €835M in the form of grants and public procurement.

The 2022 Work programme supports a broad range of actions under four overarching “strands” with a cross-cutting focus on cancer. These include the following:

  • crisis preparedness
  • disease prevention
  • health systems and the healthcare workforce
  • digitalisation

Open Calls:

HaDEA has launched a call under the 2021 EU4Health work programme for an action grant to support the European Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority (HERA). The grant aims to establish a pilot network of top-class laboratories and research institutes with the expertise and capacities to support HERA in identifying emergent pathogens and ensuring the availability of medical countermeasures for improved health preparedness and response.
