Annual report of the National Intellectual Disability Database Committee 2013

This report is a summary of the main findings of the sixteenth Annual Report of the National Intellectual Disability Database Committee. It presents data for 2013 on the demographic profile of those who are registered on the National Intellectual Disability Database (NIDD), their current usage of day and residential services, and a range of multidisciplinary supports. It also presents information on the future service requirements for the period 2014-2018. The 2013 dataset consists of information relating to 27,691 individuals. In addition to this report, a complete set of tables and figures mirroring data in reports from previous years is available in pdf format. Summary bulletins for each of the four HSE regions and 32 Local Health Offices (LHOs) are also available upon request at disability@hrb.ie. The report is number 24 in the HRB Statistics Series.
