Dr Cyril Sullivan

Dr Sullivan is an accountant (FCCA/ACMA) with 30 years of experience in the profession. Dr Sullivan is Director of ECC Ireland, and he held other senior public sector positions, including Director of Finance and Support Services with the IPA, Head of Finance and Corporate affairs with the NRA and an auditor with the C&AG’s Office.

Dr Sullivan has had several State nominations, including board membership of the NMBI as well as membership of the Audit and Risk Committees (ARC) of a number of Government Departments and State agencies. Dr Sullivan has just finished his second term as Chair of the ARC of An Garda Siochana.

Dr. Cyril Sullivan’s expertise is in governance, including regulatory and research governance, financial management, audit and risk. His other qualifications include a B.Sc in Computer Science (TCD), an M (Econ) Sc (TCD), an MBA (Smurfit School, UCD) and a Doctorate in Governance (Queens University, Belfast).
