How to apply

The ingredients of a successful grant application are good ideas, sound methodology and a clear well written application. Only applications that reach a sufficiently high standard are funded. Applicants should read the information in this section before applying for funding.

This section contains instructions on preparing a good grant application. This includes principles of good scientific practice in research and national researcher salary scales.  Applicants for funding should also read the HRB policies and procedures in the Information for grant holders section.

You may be required to complete an application form online using the HRB eGrants system.  General information on eGrants is provided under the 'Using egrants' option in this section.  For detailed information on using the system,  there are guidelines associated with each call under the Grants  section.
