Applications demonstrating partnership in a research project are invited from researchers and health professionals working in any area of health and social care. The applicant(s) must have secured a substantial financial contribution, in kind or otherwise, towards the research project from one or more other sources.

Details:

The Health Research Board (HRB) plays a lead role in strengthening the evidence base in health services and social care research in Ireland and in developing research capacity in these areas. Applications are now invited for project funding under the HRB Partnership Awards scheme, which promotes high-quality research and a partnership approach to addressing important health and social care questions on this island.

WHAT does the award include?
The HRB will contribute up to €40,000 per annum to award-winning projects for a period of up to two years.

 

HOW much funding is available for this call?
The HRB will commit a total of €400,000 in funding for this call. The number of awards made will depend on the quality of the proposals received and the amount of partner funding already pledged to the successful applicants from other sources.

 

HOW can I apply?
Applications must be made through the HRB online eGrants system. Please note that applications cannot be accepted after the deadline of Friday 18 April 2008 at 5pm as the HRB online eGrants system will automatically close.
