Health Research Board

The HRB systematically collects information on the outputs of its funded research through end-of-grant reports,  submitted by grant holders four months after grant completion.  Based on this information, this report presents the outputs and achievements of grants that concluded in 2008 and 2009. It is intended that this report will serve as an important benchmark for future output reports and provide the basis for longer-term impact assessment studies to demonstrate the ultimate social and economic benefits of Irish health research.
