CEO, Irish Cancer Society
Mr McCormack was appointed Chief Executive at the Irish Cancer Society in October 2002. He was formerly Company Secretary and Financial Controller with the Society.
In 1991, he founded the Irish Charities Tax Reform Group which has lobbied successfully for the introduction of tax relief on corporate donations. He holds an MBA from Dublin City University and is a fellow member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland. Mr McCormack is a Board Member of the Irish Platform for Patient Organisations Science and Industry, an Executive Member of ICORG and the Prostate Cancer Research Consortium and Chairman of the Medical Research Charities Group.
Mr McCormack was appointed to the board of the HRB in June 2007.
